New Dawn Cross

"New Dawn Cross" suggests a symbol of hope, renewal, and new beginnings. It implies that the cross represents a transition from old to new, bringing light and positivity to the community. The phrase "New Dawn" conveys:
1. Fresh start
2. Renewal
3. Hope
4. Positive change
5. New perspective
In this context, the New Dawn Cross could represent a blend of tradition and modernity, embracing progress while honoring heritage.

Associations

Sangati Sports Club

The Sangati Sports Club was established to promote unity, discipline, and sportsmanship among the youth of Udden. The club has played a key role in nurturing leadership and community spirit.

Community Service & Social Work

The Udden Somudai has actively served through Community Works. This service reflects unity, faith, and responsibility towards society.

For the work carried out, we used to collect two rupees from each household, and this amount was used solely for community work. This practice continued until 30/11/1999. The first major work undertaken was hammering rods by Joaquim Lawrence Cola?o, with 12 members present, and the work was completed by contributing ?24 through manual labour.
On several occasions, while carrying out road cleaning, we also received financial support from the Panchayat.
To resolve the issues faced by our ward, we used to approach our elected representatives (MLAs) for assistance.
